Hackney Council Data Breach

Hackney Council Data Breach

Hackney Council have reportedly been working with the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the Ministry Housing to investigate the breach at hand, according to Sky News.co.uk

At present no details have been disclosed of HOW the data breach has occurred, or WHAT details have been exposed via the cyber cyber attack.

The ICO confirmed to Sky that there has been a report of a data breach for Hackney Council as a result of a cyber attack.

Residents and businesses of Hackney Council have been advised to only contact the council team with any queries, highlighting that the centre at present is very busy.

We understand that a data breach not only affects data loss which can affect ones privacy; but their are mental constraints and anxieties that are caused by these breaches.

All data breaches here at Angelus Law are dealt with on a case by case basis to understand the breach exposure and the affects it has had to the individual and family as a whole. Everything is taken into consideration for a data breach claim.

If you believe you have been subject to this data breach in question, please do not hesitate to contact us.
